Common Orthodontic Appliances We Use
Space Maintainers
When a baby tooth is lost early, nearby teeth may start to drift — which can block the path for adult teeth. Space maintainers hold the space open to allow permanent teeth to come in properly. They’re simple, effective, and often prevent the need for more extensive treatment later.
Bite Plates
A bite plate is a small appliance used to correct a deep bite — where the upper front teeth cover too much of the lower teeth. It helps guide the bite into a healthier position and prevents wear or damage to the front teeth. Most bite plates are removable and easy to adapt to after a few days.
Thumb Crib / Habit Appliances
